Description
The Willows is a farmhouse with an L-shaped plan, featuring a south wing from the 17th century and an east wing from the 18th century. The east wing is constructed of red brick with a pantiled roof, standing two storeys high with an attic. It has a five-window range with various casement windows, most having small panes and segmental arches. There are two blank panels on the first floor and one on the ground floor. The doorway is asymmetrical and includes an inset six-panel door, with the upper two panels glazed, and a semi-circular fanlight with glazing bars. A modern gabled timber porch is present. The south wing is timber-framed and rendered, with a brick gable end on the north side and a pantiled roof. This wing is a single storey with an attic, featuring large pane casement windows from the mid-20th century on the west elevation, and a four-panel door with a gabled hood. There is an external stack on this wing.
