Description

Peartree House is a house dating from the late 18th century, with substantial extensions added to the north in the mid-20th century. The building is constructed of rendered brick and has a plain tile roof. The older part of the house features two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range that includes modern three-light casements with square leaded panes. Above the central doorway, which has an inset six-panel door, there is a semi-circular fanlight with traceried glazing bars, flanked by pilasters and topped with a broken pediment. The house also has a wooden eaves dentil cornice and two flat-roofed dormers beneath a hipped roof.
