Description

35 and 36 Church Road are a pair of semi-detached cottages originally designed as a symmetrical pair, dating from the late 18th century, with 19th-century extensions to the northeast and southwest. They are constructed of red brick, with rendering on the southwest and southeast sides, and feature a pantiled roof. The cottages are single storey with an attic and have a two-window range with three-light casements set under segmental arches. There are two doorways, each with a boarded door, and two flat-roofed dormers. A brick eaves dentil cornice adds to their architectural detail. These cottages are included for their group value.
