Description

The Lion is a public house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of painted brick and has a slated roof. The building stands two storeys high and features a four-window range with three-light casements set under segmental arches. The ground floor windows are fitted with boarded shutters. On the left side of the building, there is a blank panel on the first floor and a blocked doorway. There are two doorways: on the left side, there is a six-panel door with the upper two panels glazed, and on the right side, there are twin three-panel doors, also with glazed upper panels. The roof is hipped and has wide eaves.
