Description
32 and 33 Hoo Lane are a pair of cottages, originally part of a row of three, likely built in the early 18th century. The cottages are timber-framed and plastered, with a red brick casing at the front and a pantiled roof that features plain tiles on the dormers. They are single storey with an attic and have a four-window range, consisting of two-light small pane casements set under segmental arches. There are two doorways, each with a boarded door, and a blocked doorway on the right side that has been replaced by a small modern window. The cottages have two gabled dormers with wide bargeboards; the dormer window on the left side has square leaded panes. There is one internal stack and one external stack on the left side, along with brick lean-to extensions at the rear.
