Description

1 and 2 Darby Road are a pair of semi-detached cottages built in the mid-19th century. They are constructed from red brick and feature a plain tile roof with gabled ends and a moulded brick eaves course. The cottages have a double pile plan with twin gabled ends and stand two storeys tall. Each cottage has two windows, which are two-light casements with glazing bars and brick dripmoulds. There are plain doorways on the left and right, each fitted with modern doors. A central brick chimney stack is present. These cottages are included for their group value.
