Nos 3 and 4, Darby Road form a row of cottages dating from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of red brick with a plain tile roof and gabled ends. The cottages have two storeys and a four-window range. They feature two-light casement windows with glazing bars and brick dripmoulds. The doorways are plain. Brick ridge stacks are also present.
