Description

This is a row of four cottages located on Church Street in Orford. They were likely built in the early 19th century. The cottages are constructed of red brick with a hipped roof covered in plain tiles. The two-storey facade has a nine-window arrangement, featuring sash windows with glazing bars set within recessed frames. The windows are topped with flat gauged brick arches. The doors are mostly modern replacements. A decorative modillion cornice runs along the roofline. Two brick stacks are located on the ridge of the roof.
