Description

Broadview and Gwelfor are a pair of 18th-century houses located on Broad Street in Orford. They are constructed from red brick and feature a plain-tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high with an attic and have a six-window range, consisting of sashes set in flush frames with glazing bars, along with two blind windows on the first floor. The window and doorway openings are topped with gauged brick arches. There are two 20th-century half-glazed entrance doors. Each house has two gabled dormers with casements that also have glazing bars. The eaves are adorned with modillion detailing, and there is a moulded brick parapet at the gable ends. The houses have three brick stacks, including one axial stack and two located at the gable ends.
