Description

A pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, situated on Quay Street in Orford. They have a colour-washed brick front, which conceals an earlier timber frame, and a plain tiled roof. The cottages are two storeys high, with a scattered arrangement of casement windows containing glazing bars. The front doors are four-panelled, with the upper panels glazed, and plank shutters are present on the ground floor windows. The ground floor openings are topped with segmental arches. Brick stacks rise from the ridge of the roof.
