Description

Rose Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th to early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with a slated hipped roof. The two-storey facade has a three-window arrangement, featuring sash windows with glazing bars set in flush frames. The windows are topped with gauged brick cambered arches. A colour-washed brick porch with a broken pediment and slate roof provides an enclosure to the entrance. The entrance door itself is four-panelled, with a moulded architrave. A central chimney stack is present.
