Description

Nos 11 and 12 Darby Road are early 19th century houses that were originally built as a single dwelling by the Darby family. The buildings are constructed of red brick and rise three storeys high. They feature three sash windows with broad frames, keyblocks, channelled lintels, and stone sills. The ground floor window has single glazing bars only, and there is a plain doorway at the center with a later door that lacks a cornice hood. The eaves are adorned with modillion detailing, and the roof is hipped and covered with tiles. The north side of the buildings has modern windows and a doorway with a porch.
