Description

Nos. 20 and 21 Darby Road are a pair of cottages likely dating from the late 18th century, built by the Darby family. They are constructed of red brick with two storeys and feature four narrow sash windows, each with a flat brick arch and stone sills. A plain wood pilaster doorcase is situated at the front. A later door has been inserted. On the north side, there is a recessed bay with a small-panel iron window above and below, both with cast-iron lintels. The ends are coped, and the roof is covered with a mix of old and new tiles.
