Description

Stuart's is a house dating from the 16th to 17th century with later alterations and additions. It features a timber frame that is partly rendered, with a brick extension at the rear. The roof is covered in plain tiles, and there are red brick stacks. The building has two storeys and an off-centre lobby entry with a cross wing to the right. The entrance includes a 20th-century door and casement windows, while the upper section displays close studding above the middle rail and a swept roof. The cross wing has a large 20th-century bow window that replaces a shop front and a casement window. There is an external stack on the right return and a 20th-century extension at the rear. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
