Description
Stuart House and the attached former warehouse are two-storey structures featuring walls rendered with scored stucco and a slate roof with a brick end stack on the right. The house has a three-window range of margin glazed sashes set in reveals, with a tripartite and cambered-arched window on the ground floor. The central doorway is topped with a plain round-arched fanlight. To the right, adjacent to the river quay, there is a painted brick wing that is stepped back and down. This wing has a hipped pantile roof, a single first-floor window, and a ground floor with a 4-cambered-arched-light window, along with a shallow projecting bay that has a large cambered-arched studded boarded opening, which has been altered. The river frontage features a seven-window warehouse range. The property is enclosed by a walled front garden with low railings that have fleur-de-lys finials and rectangular gatepiers.
