Description

Riverside Cottages are a timber-framed and plastered house, likely dating from the 16th to 17th centuries, though significantly altered since. The ground storey is now faced with modern brick, while the upper storey was likely formerly jettied. The building is currently divided into four tenements. It has two storeys, with a four-window range; numbers 72 to 76 feature horizontal sliding sash windows with glazing bars, and number 78 has 20th-century casements. There are four boarded doors. The west gable is clad in weatherboarding. The roofs are tiled.
