Description

No. 50 Bear Street is a 16th to 17th century timber-framed and plastered house featuring a cross wing at the east end. The upper storey of the cross wing juts out at the front, supported by exposed joists. The east side of the building showcases exposed timber-framing, while the ground storey and most of the west side are faced with colourwashed brick. The windows in the cross wing are 2-light leaded casements, and the roof is covered with old tiles.
