Description

Cob Cottage is a medieval timber-framed and plastered house, likely dating from the 15th century, with alterations made in the 18th century and later renovations in the 20th century. The building features a central gabled block that is two storeys high, with a jettied upper storey, and side blocks that are one storey with attics. The windows are predominantly 20th-century casements with lattice leaded lights, along with one double-hung sash window in the west block and a small former shop window in the east block, which has fluted pilasters and a cornice. The roofs are tiled.
