Description
No 100 on Bear Street is a 17th to 18th century timber-framed and plastered house. It features a two-storey cross wing at the west end and a long main block that is one storey with attics to the east. The cross wing was likely originally jettied on the upper storey, while the ground storey is built in brick. The main block has small leaded casement windows with moulded frames and shallow cornices. The cross wing has modern casement windows with leaded lights. There is a six-panel door with a moulded wood architrave, a pulvinated frieze, and a cornice. The roofs are covered with old tiles, and there is a central square chimney stack on the main block.
