Description
Fuschia Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the 17th century and has undergone later alterations. It is timber-framed and covered in painted brick, with a plain tile roof and a rebuilt red brick chimney. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a gable end facing the street. It features a central lobby-entry with a 19th-century half-glazed door set in a reveal with an architrave, flanked by 16-pane sash windows in flush architraves. There is also a further 20th-century window to the right. The roof is swept with a ridge stack, and the gable end includes two small-paned casements and a band. The interior has not been inspected, but some framing, a beamed ceiling, and an inglenook are visible.
