Description

STOKE HOLY CROSS CHANDLER ROAD TG 20 SW (north side) 4/64 Highfield House II House. Late C18 with large west bay added 1820. Whitewashed brick with slate roof. C18 block of 2 storeys in 3 bays. Panelled central door in fluted case of 2 pilasters below hood. Sashes with glazing bars under segmental gauged skewback arches, some renewed 1962. Timber modillion eaves cornice below gabled roof. Internal east gable end stack. Original west gable end stack now internal following 1820 addition. This addition of 2 storeys in one bay, slightly rebated. One C20 sash each floor. Hipped roof.
