Description
The guardhouse at the former RAF Stoke Holy Cross was built in 1939 following an Air Ministry design and is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond. It features a half-glazed timber door and iron Crittall type windows, all under a hipped tiled roof. The front of the building includes a veranda supported by two brick piers. Inside, the guardhouse consists of a single room with a latrine at the back, which retains its original cast iron and ceramic fittings. Additionally, there is a small brick bicycle shed located next to the guardhouse.
