Description
The building is a Type AM5 pillbox, constructed from brick according to an Air Ministry design. It has a rectangular plan with two chamfered corners. The entrance corridor runs parallel to the back wall, and there is a Y-shaped internal blast wall.
The exterior is rendered and features a reinforced concrete cap. Loopholes protected by concrete shades are present on the sides and at the chamfered corners. The roof shows remains of steel stanchions that once held wire, and a mounting for a 20mm anti-aircraft gun is still visible.
Inside, the pillbox is made of brick, but no fittings remain.
