Description

PARISH OF LONG EATON LOCK LANE SK 48 NE 2/33 (South Side) Beech House at Sandiacre Lock GV II

House. Late C18 with early C19 addition to rear. Red brick with slate roof and two brick ridge stacks, plus dentilled eaves band. Two storeys and three bays. Central segment headed doorcase has panelled door and plain overlight, with a 3-light horizontal sliding glazing bar sash to west and a fixed small pane glazing bar window to east, both under segment heads and with panelled shutter. Above, two 3-light horizontal sliding, glazing bar, sashes and a similar central 2-light sash, all under segment heads. Rear elevation has a two storey semi- circular bow to centre and glazing bar sashes under rusticated wedge lintels with double keystones.
