Description
No. 25 Town Street is a house from the early 19th century with a later 19th-century addition. It is built of red brick with painted stone dressings and features a plain tile roof with brick gable stacks. The building has two storeys plus garrets and consists of three bays, with a single bay addition to the east that is two storeys high. The central entrance has a glazed door that is sheltered by a 20th-century glazed porch. On either side of the door, there are plain sash windows beneath rusticated wedge lintels with double keystones. Above the entrance, there are three similar windows. Each gable wall has a segment-headed horizontal sliding sash window in the garret. The late 19th-century addition to the east includes a plain doorcase with a plank door and a plain sash window.
