Description

No. 47 Church Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features brick coped gables and a slate roof, with two gable stacks. The building is two storeys tall plus attics and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, which is flanked by single glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are three similar windows. All openings have brick segmental heads. The roof includes two steeply gabled 19th-century dormers, which have bargeboards, slate cheeks, and two-light casements.
