Description
No. 7 Maltkiln Road is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with minor alterations from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantiled roof with raised and tumbled brick coped gables. The house has two brick gable stacks and is designed in a T-plan. It stands two storeys tall with a three-bay front that includes garrets. There is a moulded brick band at the first floor and a plain band at the second floor of the gable end. The central entrance features a six-panelled door surrounded by fluted pilasters and an open pediment. Flanking the door are single bow windows with glazing bars and flat lead roofs, both adorned with moulded architraves. On the first floor, there are three glazing bar sash windows with segmental brick heads.
