Description

This is a barn located at the rear of No. 7 Maltkiln Road in Fenton, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantiled roof. The gable displays the initials "GC" in iron ties. On the crew yard side, there is a blocked central door, while the gable includes a high-level planked door with a segmental head and seven vertical breather holes. The outer side of the barn has a dentillated eaves course. Inside, the roof retains its original staggered butt purlin structure, hipped at one end. The barn is listed primarily for its group value.
