Description

No. 2 Hinckley Road is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick, which has been painted white, and features a plain tile roof with raised verges and end stacks at the rear. The building has three storeys, with bands above the ground and first floors, and the second floor has reduced proportions. The front facade is regularly arranged with three windows. The ground and first floors have glazing bar sash windows in open boxes with segmental heads, while the second floor has flat-headed windows that are narrower in the center bays. All windows are fitted with louvred shutters. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door with an overlight, set within a segment-headed surround.
