Description

No. 58 High Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a clay tile roof with ashlar coped verges on kneelers, along with brick integral end stacks. The building has two storeys and two windows, which are glazing bar sashes with gauged brick heads and raised painted key blocks. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with an oblong overlight, surrounded by a wooden reeded frame and topped with a projecting cornice hood. There are decorative bands just below the sill level of the first-floor windows and just below the eaves level, along with a dentilled eaves course.
