Description

Podmore's Mill is a late 19th-century cotton mill located on the south side of High Street in Rocester. The building is constructed of rock-faced ashlar and features a clay tile roof with a rock-faced integral end stack. It stands three storeys tall, with eight evenly spaced windows on the first floor, four on the second floor, and six on the ground floor. The ground floor windows align with the positions of the first floor windows, except for the fourth and sixth positions from the left, which are blank. The windows are segmental headed casements. The mill holds considerable group and landscape value.
