Description

No. 50 West Street is a house dating from the late 18th century, with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of red brick, featuring some areas of colourwashed render. The roof is slate, with a brick-coped gable, moulded brick eaves, and a single projecting gable stack. The building is two stories high with a four-bay front. There is a slightly damaged first floor band to the left and a rendered plinth. The doorway is located to the left and has a segmental head, an overlight, and a partially glazed door. To the left of the doorway is a single glazing bar sash window, while there are two glazing bar sashes to the right. Above, there are four glazing bar sash windows, all of which have segmental heads.
