Description

This is a late 18th-century building, originally two houses and now a single dwelling. It is located on the north side of West Street, Horncastle. The building is constructed of red brick, with some areas colourwashed render. The roof is slate, with stone coped gables, kneelers, a single ridge stack, and gable stacks.

The two-storey, five-bay front features a rendered plinth, a rendered ground floor, and a rectangular patch of rendered in the upper right-hand corner. A doorway is situated on the left-hand side, featuring a segmental head and a panelled door. Two glazing bar sash windows are positioned on either side of the doorway, with a fixed window beyond to the right. Five glazing bar sash windows are located above, all with segmental heads.
