Description
Peckleton Hall is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of red brick with some stone bands and dressings, topped with hipped slate roofs and a brick stack located behind the ridge to the left. The building stands three storeys high and features sill-bands on all floors, along with a modillioned cornice at the top. The front has a regular arrangement of five windows, with the central bay slightly recessed. The windows are glazing bar sashes set in open boxes, featuring gauged brick heads and raised keystones. The entrance consists of central panelled doors within an arched surround, topped by a fanlight, and is framed by a projecting Roman Doric porch supported by two full columns, which has a triglyph frieze above the hood.
