Description
Peckleton House is a mid-18th century house located on Desford Field Lane in Peckleton. The building is rendered and features rusticated quoins, sill-bands, and a cornice. It has a plain tile roof with a parapet and end stacks. The house stands three storeys tall, with the second floor having reduced proportions. The front has a regular arrangement of three windows, with the central windows slightly projecting. All windows are glazing bar sashes set in open boxes. The central second floor window has a moulded architrave surround that resembles the cornice hood of the central first floor window. The entrance features a central six-panel door with arched panelled reveals and a radiating fanlight, framed by a Doric half-columned surround topped with a triangular pediment.
