Description
No. 50 North Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century to the mid-19th century. It features a red brick façade that is chequered with some stock brick and has areas of render. The roof is made of pantiles and has rendered, brick coped gables with gable stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a three-bay front. The central doorway is adorned with a moulded doorcase that includes an entablature with a dentil cornice and a panelled door. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows with brick wedge lintels. Above, there are two plain sashes flanking a dummy plain sash, all of which have small brick wedge lintels, although the dummy sash features a small ogee moulded lower surface.
