Description

No. 52 High Street is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of stock brick with red brick return walls and some areas of render. The roof is double ridged, covered with concrete tiles, and features stone coped gables, a parapet, and gable stacks. The building has two storeys and a three-bay front. At the centre, there is a doorway with a semi-circular head, fluted doorcase, a plain semi-circular lintel, a traceried fanlight, and a panelled door. The doorway is flanked by single glazing bar sashes with extra margin lights, and there are three glazing bar sashes above, all with painted, rendered wedge lintels.
