Description
The stables and traphouse to the Vicarage, now used as stores and a garage, date from the late 18th century and were extended in the 19th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with ashlar dressings and features a pantile roof with brick coped gables and a single brick ridge stack. It is two storeys high with an irregular three-bay front. The central bay, which is advanced and has a pediment, contains double planked doors set within a basket arch that has an ashlar key and impost blocks. To the left is a pointed planked door with Gothick panels, flanked by two plain casements with pointed heads. To the right are 20th-century double garage doors. On the first floor, there is a central oval opening flanked by two circular openings, all boarded. To the left, a single-storey addition features a blank Gothick arch and has a parapet.
