Description

Beech Wood is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a slate roof with brick integral end stacks. The building stands three storeys tall, with the second floor having reduced proportions and a dentilled eaves band. The front of the house has three windows: the ground and first floors have glazing bar sashes, with the left and right windows being tripartite, while the second floor has casement windows. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door set within a pilastered doorcase, topped by an open pediment and a fanlight that has radiating glazing bars.
