Description
Moorhouse Hall is a house dating from the late 18th century, with additions from the 19th century. It features roughcast walls with stone dressings and a slate roof, along with rendered chimney stacks. The building is two storeys high and has four bays. To the left, there is a projecting two-storey bay with a hipped roof. The entrance is adorned with moulded pilasters, a moulded and ornamented entablature, and a pediment. The windows are sash style with glazing bars. To the right, there is a two-storey, three-bay extension that maintains the same roof line and includes a 20th-century entrance. Additionally, there is a further 19th-century extension that has a filled carriage arch with a 20th-century window.
