Description

Model Farmhouse, originally a pair of estate cottages built around 1840, is constructed of red brick and features slate roofs. The building has a U-shaped plan with gabled wings and a central low extension at the rear. It stands two storeys high and consists of four bays. The windows have chamfered reveals and are fitted with cast iron casement windows that have elongated diamond panes. Notable architectural details include diagonally set chimneys and decorative barge boards.
