Description

The remains of Costessey Hall are a Grade II listed structure located in Costessey. This mansion was begun in 1826 by architect J. C. Buckler. The ruins are constructed of red brick and gault brick, and they are partially covered by ivy. Notable features include Tudor style chimneys and a gault brick bell turret topped with a crocketted cupola. This site is the last remaining part of the Jerningham family seat.
