Description

No. 70 is a small double-fronted Gothic style house built in 1849, located on the north side of West End in Costessey. The house is two stories tall, constructed from gault brick, and features a slate roof. The openings have rectangular hood-moulds and are fitted with mullioned and transomed window frames. A decorative central datestone displays Roman numerals. The house is distinguished by its highly ornamental gable-end chimneys and decorative ridge tiles.
