Description

The barn at Boundary Farm in Gillingham is an early 17th-century structure. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, standing on a red brick plinth. The roof is thatched with reeds and features gabled ends. On the west side, there are central double doors, while the east side has a gabled porch with a double door opening and a taller plinth. The roof structure includes clasped purlins and curved wind braces, although the tie beams with arch braces have been removed. This barn is included for its group value.
