GV II

Barn, C17 and later. Red brick to east, timber framed and weatherboarded to west. Steeply pitched roof with corrugated iron sheeting replacing thatch. Large double door opening central in north wall; doors missing. Brick wall with two buttresses to east of doorway. Brick lean-to on south side, opposite doorway. Western section of south wall rebuilt in C20 blockwork. Roof has two tiers of staggered butt-purlins; some curved wind braces to upper purlin remain. In the western side, jowled principal posts with tie beams. Braces from posts to wall plate and gable tie. Six-light window in west gable. Included for group value.
