Description

The barn at Church Farm is likely of 17th-century origin, remodelled in the 19th century, with a 19th-century roof. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a pantile roof. The west face features a large door in the northern end, along with ventilation slits. A parapet adorns the gable. The north gable wall contains two doors with a slit window above. A doorway with a segmental arch head is present in the south gable wall, alongside a large opening. Large 20th-century brick buttresses are situated in the centre of the east wall. The remaining wall is partially obscured by vegetation, but a large doorway in the northern end and slit lights are visible. The interior features a 19th-century kingpost roof. The barn is included on the list for group value.
