Description

Church Farm Cottage is a 17th-century house that was remodelled in the 19th century. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a pantile roof. The house is rectangular in plan. The front facade has two bays and is two storeys high, featuring a 20th-century brick porch and 20th-century casement windows. There are two 20th-century casements to the first floor, set within partly blocked earlier openings. Brick eaves dentils are also present. A right-hand gable end stack is visible. A 20th-century single-storey extension has been added to the right. The left-hand gable wall was rebuilt after a collapse around 1980. The rear wall contains two blocked 17th-century openings with hood moulds, and one 17th-century opening now fitted with a 20th-century casement. The building is included on the list for its group value.
