Description
Hall Farm House is an 18th-century farmhouse located on Stockton Road in Geldeston. It is constructed of whitewashed brick resting on a tarred plinth, topped with a pantiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a slightly lower rear section, and features an L-shaped plan. The symmetrical facade has three bays, with sash windows that include glazing bars and skewback arches above the openings. The central entrance is a six-panel door, with the top four panels being glazed. The gables are parapeted and display tumbling-in. There is an internal gable stack on the east side, while the western gable stack projects slightly and has been rebuilt at its base. Attic casements are present in the gables, and there is a sawtooth brick eaves course. To the north, there are two lower gabled projections, with the western range featuring two chimney stacks, one located at the north gable. The projections have 20th-century casements and a 20th-century flat-roofed dormer in the angle.
