Description
The barn at Church Farm is a building that likely dates from the 18th century. It is timber framed and features later brick facing on the farmyard side. At the rear, there is an outshot with a weatherboarded wall, and the gables are also covered in weatherboarding. The roof is old and tiled, with a half hip at the east end. An outshot at the west end connects the barn to the house. On the left side, there are cart doors, while the right side has two 20th-century windows and a door. Inside, the barn has three bays with large curved braces supporting the tiebeams, which have curved queenposts leading to the purlins. The roof is additionally supported by twin windbracing.
