Description

Manor Farmhouse is a 17th and 18th century farmhouse situated on Bungay Road, Stockton. The farmhouse is constructed of red brick, partly rendered, and possibly timber-framed, with steeply pitched pantiled roofs. It has a two-storey, L-shaped plan. The front elevation features three widely-spaced casements of 2 and 3 lights, with a doorway located centrally beneath the middle casement. A parapeted west gable has segmental-headed casements on both ground and first floors. Some leaded glazing remains. Two chimney stacks run along the ridge line. To the east, there is a 1 1/2-storey crosswing with a steeply pitched gabled roof. The east wall of the crosswing is red brick, with casements featuring glazing bars. An attic casement is set within the gable. An off-centre axial stack is present.
